LUXOX RE™ wood scrap and timber offcuts are generated during the cutting, shaping, sizing, drilling, routing, sanding and manufacturing of our furniture. These production byproducts may include solid wood offcuts, timber cuttings, plank scrap, board pieces, wooden strips, small blocks, irregular cuttings, sawdust and wood dust in assorted sizes and quantities.

At LUXOX, we use carefully selected virgin, first-use wood and timber materials for manufacturing our furniture to maintain consistency, structural integrity, appearance and long-term performance. Wood scrap and production offcuts are not reintroduced into our new furniture manufacturing process.

Instead, through LUXOX RE™, suitable wood scrap, timber offcuts and other manufacturing residuals are redirected for recycling, repurposing and appropriate secondary applications.

These wood scrap offcuts may be useful for carpentry workshops, wood recyclers, artists, craft makers, DIY projects, educational activities, packaging applications and other users who can creatively repurpose smaller pieces of timber.

Wood dust and sawdust generated during manufacturing may also be available separately, subject to production and collection.

Material

Furniture-grade wood, timber and wooden board manufacturing residuals generated during normal furniture production.

Typical Contents

Wood scrap, timber offcuts, plank cuttings, wooden strips, board scrap, small wood blocks, irregular wood pieces, sawdust, sanding dust and other wood manufacturing byproducts.

The exact composition of each lot may vary depending upon the furniture being manufactured at that time.

Condition

Unused manufacturing residuals and offcuts generated during normal production. Sizes, species, shapes, thicknesses, colours and finishes may vary from lot to lot. Some pieces may have cutting, drilling, sanding, machining, coating or other production marks.

These materials are sold as manufacturing scrap/byproducts and not as finished timber or furniture components.
